Making your own baby food!
My daughter is almost 6 months old. I started her on solid food 5 weeks ago. I chose the easiest way : using store-bought baby food. To make my self feel better about it, I say I will start making my own in few weeks.

Baby food Thanksgiving recipes (cont.)
Sweet potato or Pumpkin pie:
Mash or puree together cooked sweet potato (or cooked pumpkin)with cooked carrot. Stir in natural unflavored yogurt until the dish is creamy.
Apple pie:
Stir infant cereal in home made suggar free applesauce, until you have created a tick consistency, then pour into an oven dish. Bake at 350 deg F for ten minutes.
Acorn squash with applesauce:
Mash r puree the cooked squash with some homemade applesauce and a dash of nutmeg. This recipe is suitable for babies from 6 months+. It would be more delicious with chopped, cooked turkey for babies 7 months +.

Baby food recipes for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and everybody is thinking about turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie; but lets not forget about our babies and include them in our feast.
Pumpkin with Bananas:
1 Banana
2 to 3 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1 to 2 tablespoons formula, breast milk or water
combine all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. You can add a dash of cinnamon for older babies.
